1. Who is responsible
MoxTech World (sole proprietor, Mwanza, Tanzania) is the data controller for the Moxify website, the Moxify launcher and your account. Contact: support@moxtech.world.
2. What we collect
- Account data — email address, display name, a hashed password (we never store the password itself), account type and membership dates.
- Device data — a hashed identifier of the PC or phone that uses your membership (two slots: one browser, one app). It exists to stop account sharing. It is not a fingerprint of everything on your computer.
- Technical data — IP address, browser or launcher version, timestamps, and error logs used to keep the service working.
- Payment data — the provider's transaction reference, amount, currency and status. Card numbers and mobile-money PINs never reach our servers.
- Support messages — what you send us by email or WhatsApp, kept so we can answer and follow up.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not read your game files. The launcher checks the mods you are about to load and reports only the result (allowed or blocked) to your account.
- We do not run advertising trackers on the account area.
4. Payment providers
Card and international payments are handled by our payment provider acting as merchant of record; they receive your payment details directly and process them under their own privacy policy. Mobile-money payments are handled by the mobile network operators. We receive only the confirmation needed to activate your membership.
5. How long we keep it
- Account and membership records — while the account exists and for 24 months after it is closed, because of accounting and dispute rules.
- Payment references and receipts — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Technical logs — 90 days, then deleted.
- Support email — 24 months.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and the data that is not required by law. Write to support@moxtech.world from the email address of the account and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Tanzanian Personal Data Protection Commission.
7. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, the site runs over HTTPS, and access to the database is limited to the people who need it. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you by email.
8. Children
Moxify is not intended for children under 13. If an account belongs to a child, the parent or guardian is responsible for it.
9. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a small local preference for language and theme. No advertising cookies are set by us.
